The Light In Dark

Hi everyone! I’m so sorry I haven’t written in a long time. I was very busy this year as it was the first year of my secondary school journey and, well, let’s just say it has been a different experience all together! Anyways, since my holidays are starting, I will try to post some stories now and then. I hope u enjoy!!

This post that I am writing is very special to me. As we all know how this year has been due to the coronavirus situation, I decided to write an important message to all of you as I know that many of us are having a hard time. So, I hope that through this message you can find your strength to help you during this difficult situation.

The Light In Dark:
Life has many surprises for us. Some may be good while some may be bad. Many tell us that each experience has a silver lining yet sometimes finding the “light in dark” can be very difficult. I just want to tell you that the real “light” is hope. Sometimes when things are hopeless and dark, having hope is the only way out. You cannot lose hope. Not now. Not ever. Losing hope was never an option, never is and will never be. Hope is the force that guides us through the toughest of times. I know that there are many situations that are hopeless and you just feel like quitting but trust me, losing hope is not worth it. By doing this you are just bringing more harm to your well being. Think about your loved ones. Think about all the sacrifices they have made for you. You need to keep fighting for them. You need to keep going on. Hope isn’t a word or isn’t a sign. It’s a feeling. It’s mental force that pushes us through the dark times. It sparks the flame of positivity in us. It gives us the confidence and faith to look for the silver lining. Without it, our world will become a dark place. A dark place with no light, nothing to guide us. Always remember that you are not alone. No one is. We are all in this together and we all need to go on. Losing hope is the same as giving up on life and you can’t give up. Every experience has a silver lining and our job is to find that silver lining rather than waste our time on giving up on hope. Life is full of opportunities so why not use this experience as an opportunity to learn something new or spend time with your loved ones or spend more time doing the things you love. Life is full of ups and downs but you can’t just give up so easily. Having hope is the one thing that keeps us going on. It’s a part of life. It always has been. It changes the negative to positive. It changes bad to good. It changes dark to light. It is indeed a life saver. So next time you feel like quitting or losing hope, ask yourself this question, “ Is it really worth to give up now when I have so many people around who care about me? Won’t I be hurting them if I quit? Won’t I be hurting myself even more if I give up on everything? Is it really worth quitting?”

Thank you.
