Advantasy :Chapter 2
chapter 2.
Suddenly, one of the child's hand began to twitch and the creatures looked at her in an incredulous manner. Violet opened her eyes and breathed for the first time for what felt like ages. However, what caught her attention was that she was not in the forest anymore. Instead, she was in a place which looked like a kingdom village. She sat up and when she saw the creatures she let a shriek. Her scream startled Rahul and Emma and they too woke up with a start. "What is going on?" asked a familiar voice. Violet could have sworn that she had heard the voice before but she could not remember anything in this confusing situation. "Move! It is the Royal Advisor! Make way!"
Royal Advisor? What the earth was that? That was the same question all three of them were thinking. As the Royal Advisor came in view, Violet finally realised who she was. "Aunt Em?" Violet said skeptically."Vi? ! Is that you?! Good heavens! It is you!" Violet and Aunt Em hugged each other. Violet told Aunt Em the whole story. Aunt Em greeted Emma and Rahul with a pleasant smile. She asked all of them to follow her. She asked all of them to follow her. "Welcome to the great world of Adventasy, children I am so happy to see you ,"Aunt Em told them. "Adventasy? cool" Violet said. "Yes. There are four kingdoms in Adventasy and this is the Ruby Kingdom" Aunt Em explained. She snapped her fingers twice and a pink enveloped note with a dove appeared. "Take this note to Cherilina Jones in the cityworld and pass it to her," aunt Em told the dove.
They reached a glass dome with a marble arch. Crystals and Rubies decorated the villa. The Emerald gate was extremely large and had 2 pillars on the doorway. A protective shield enclosed the house. Four walls were surrounding the house , making a large courtyard. "Welcome to my home, the emerald Gate," Aunt Em proudly pronounced. "awesome!" Emma and Rahul exclaimed in unison. "why did you name it the Emerald Gate?" Violet asked. "you will see, Aunt Em replied and winked.
The inside of the house was even spectacular. The walls were made of marble and emeralds, answering Violets question. The large dome was crystals clear and the beautiful sky could be viewed . Thousands of jewels decorated the house making it more fascinating. The curtains were shimmering and attractive ribbons decorated the house. The hall was enchanting. There was a long table with roses on the sides. The delicious aroma of food could be smelt. The little group went up the crystal stairway to the rooms. "Even though I had lived here alone , I knew that someday you kids would come so I built a few extra rooms," aunt Em said.
The rooms were breath-taking. It . felt like they had entered a castle room. There was a magnficient bed in the middle with prominent curtains to surround it. There were a few desks made with strong glass. Wardrobes were decorated with shiny lights. "You can off them if you want to ," Aunt Em told them. "This is a dream....." Violet Breathed. Next, they went to Rahul's room which was decorated in blue wallpaper. His room was very attractive. Each of the children's room was in their favourite colours:Emma's room was pink, Violet's room was purple and Rahul's was blue. The rooms even matched their rucksacks. Thankfully , they had managed to snatch their ruck-sacks from the smelly creatures.
"Well, I have to get going. I have to prepare for the enchanted Ball," Aunt Em said. "The enchanted ball happens when a royal member is born. The unnamed princess will have her christening ceremony in the ball. You can come too if you want. I will pick you up from here," Aunt Em said. "Oh ! In order for you to get dresses and suits you will find money in the secret vault behind the painting in your rooms. Then you can get all your stuff from fantasy plaza . Be back by 3 o'clock. Have fun children!". with that Aunt Em left the house . The three of them grinned at each other and got ready for the fun.
"Oh, it is all my fault ! I should have not scared Violet away ! and how all the children ! what am I going to do ," Cheryl sobbed. Neeta and Julia consoled her . The three men paced back and food around the room and the lawn. They seemed very stressed , apparently. Suddenly, a beautiful white dove appeared magically in the air . It caused a lot of attraction and soon everyone was staring at it curiously . The white dove landed next to Cheryl and dropped a letter on the table. Cheryl was very shocked by the dove arrival that she became temporally paralysed ."Open it Cheryl," Arkinson encouraged her. With trembling hands, she finally opened the letter . The letter was written by Emborigina Jones. "Em?!" Cheryl said in a incredulous manner . She read out the note everyone.
Dear Cherilina, I know you must be warned about the children's disappearance but to inform you , they are safe with me in Advantasy. When time comes, they will get home safe and sound. Right now they are having a wonderful time here. There is NO time difference in my world and yours so it might take them a little longer to come back. Trust me I will take good care of them. I think by now you must have seen Rahul's quick note. There is a portal in the tree and Violet activated that with her magic. That is how they got here. The tree is the most ancient tree and it is call Willgroove tree. It was their destiny to discover it. I will keep you updated. Bye!
Love ,
Emborgina jones
Cheryl read the letter twice and felt her heart beat rapidly. So the children were safe. She sighed with relief and sank back in her chair. She held the letter tighlty. All of the parents were relived that their kids were safe. Little did they know that it was not for long...
Adventasy Chapter 1: Friends Visit
From failure to success
Do any of you believe that failure is a stepping stone to success? Well I do. Failure may be tormenting or miserable but.. well just continue reading to find out the next part of this sentence!
Failure, of course, is something most of us do not wish to experience but without failure we would never get to learn the true meaning of success.
It's true. No matter how many times you have scored A* for your exams, without failure you have yet to understand the true definition of success. But what is the meaning of success?
Success means to do hard work and be resilient in everything you do. Even if you did not get full marks in a test, if you have worked hard for that test then it is a small success that is giving you the motivation to do better for the upcoming tests.
Failure has its own meaning. It is a kind of sign. Failure tells you that 'Hey! The world is not over yet!' Failure gives you the determination to do way better and without it you might not even get that feeling to do better.
Some students who are passionate they will realise that though failure has its own disappointment it is still important in being successful because it gives that mental push that ' I am not backing down! I will do better!'
Failure is a signal that maybe you need to be diligent and put in more effort in your studies in order to excel. So you should not be upset but just make sure that you do not get demoralized by failure but be strong and resilient in pressing predicaments .
If you are just scoring high, you may become arrogant which will greatly affect your perfect performance. Do not get me wrong. I congratulate you if you have been successful but remember to always stay humble and continue working hard and persevering to excellence.
If you do so you will realise that failure actually does not back you down but instead tries to push you to your highest potential and your extreme limit with full determination, passion and resilience which is the key to success.
Amazing, isn't it?
A day at the beach
The air smelled salty and the sand i was stepping on were like small crystals caressing my feet with their smooth surface tickling my toes. The sound of the waves crashing on the shore rang in my ears as i laid my beach things on the vibrantly coloured mat.
All around me were small seashells that certainly were very conspicuous. Swimmers were swimming with swift strong strokes in the splashing sea. Hearing the loud cheers from the volleyball competition, I decided to view the professional's performance.
The stadium was packed with lively spectators and there was not even enough room to move around at all. I squeezed myself into the boisterous crowd that erupted into thunderous applause whenever a goal was scored.
The competitors were utterly brilliant. They hit the ball very hard and were very enthusiastic. My eyes darted around the field excitedly, scanning the ball's movement. In the end, the Red Aercons won. I cheered and congratulated them before heading of to my mat for a quick snack.
By now a vivid orange tone was prominent on the blue sky which gave a shiny cast that was ever so mesmerizing. I sighed ecstatically as i lay on the mat and watched the adorable birds flutter by.
The atmosphere of the beach was so calm and serene that it was a wonder if anyone did not appreciate it. The playful children squealed with joy as they too enjoyed their time on the beach.
Sometimes coming to the beach makes me forget all hustle and bustle of the hectic city and the wondrous beauty of the beach never fails to nonpluss me with its charismatic view.
I swam in the sea for about fifteen minutes, letting the cooling water swim through my hair. By now it was already six o'clock in the evening so i decided to have a quick shower and change.
My beach day had ended but i still was not ready to call it a day. I went to the nearest plaza to have a quick look around. The moonlight shimmered against the huge windows of the plaza, making it glow.
I went on the bridge outside the mall and looked at the stars. They were so bright and were dancing in our eyes. Their twinkle were leading us to the sunshine of the next day, telling us that everyday is a new beginning.
I sighed and gratefully embraced their twinkle for leading me from night to day. From darkness to light. From the end of the old day to the start of a new day.
Raven's Diary Chapter 1
Many of us do not realise how fortunate we are to have a family. The main reasons maybe due to the fact that our family members overestimate us or be unfair to us but once you read this story about an orphan girl you will realise how fortunate you are...
9 July 2014
Dear Diary, I am Raven Smith or that's what the matron said my name was. According to Miss Amaraback(my matron) , the reason how i ended up in Westmacher Orphanage was because of my family's death. The murder incident has haunted my mind till now.
It all happened two years ago on the devastating night. I remember how my mother told me to go to bed while they had their dinner party at the front lawn. I was listening to the music in my room when suddenly everyone started screaming. I saw the murders killing my family from my window and they were soon running away from the lawn with blood on their faces and their bags full.
The aftermath was very quick. After my neighbours told the police what happened, I was sent to the court to decide where I would go next. I had no relatives so i soon ended up in the orphanage.
Whenever I think about my family, I just cry. I know it does not help but i just wish I had a family.

11 July 2014
Dear Diary, today was horrible. I was queuing up to collect my daily food when Dan Roberts, the biggest bully in the orphanage, pushed me to the floor and took my turn. I tried to get in the queue again but people just shoved me behind and teased me for being so helpless. In the end I was the last but there was no food left.
We only get food once a day and the food consists of only dry bread and a bit of stale jam. I never take the stale jam as its taste is horrible. The dry bread does not even lasts us for a few hours but that is the only food in the orphanage and we are not even allowed to take a second serving.
For water, each child is only allowed three small glasses for drinking and a medium sized bucket for showering. Like I said, in the orphanage nothing can last you for a day. Sometimes, if we are lucky, some amount of water can be left from showering and we can use that to drink for the day but that still is not enough.
Another horrible thing that happened was that Miss Amaraback came into the foul canteen area and saw that i was trying to join the queue and immediately thought that i was annoying the other kids and was cutting the queue so as my punishment, I got three whips.
That kind of whip is realyyyy painful and it has sharp edges that can sear through your body and make deep gashes but i get about fifty of those every year because the other kids always put me into trouble so I am used to it. I have a lot of cuts on my body but i try not to think about it.
I am the youngest in the orphanage which gives the other kids a chance to pick on me. I always try to stand up for myself but in the orphanage i have no support. There are about eighty kids in the orphanage and all seventy nine kids are against me.
I wish I had a family to love me and give me support when i need their help.

15 July 2014
Dear Diary, today is my birthday but it is another worst birthday i have experienced. I am crying and writing this in the toilet because the other girls in my dorm have locked me out and have thrown all my possessions in the smelly trash bin after purposely breaking it. So i guess I have to sleep in the toilet for the night. Great.
So let me tell you what happened today. I had just came back from taking a stroll in the garden and, without uttering a word to any of the girls in my dorm, I went to bed, to sit down and mind my own business, which is located at the far corner of the room, away from the other kids.
That is when Tara Alana, the oldest girl, came up to me with the other girls and handed me a small box decorated with ribbons as a happy birthday gift. I actually thought that they had changed so i smiled gratefully at them but failed to notice their mischievous grins.
When I opened the box, I screamed with terror. It was totally not a gift but a humongous spider with long knife- like tentacles. My face was pale with fear and I immediately threw the box and the spider outside the window before it could crawl on me.
The girls started throwing my stuff around and I was soon pushed out of the dorm and locked out. Now the only place I can hide is the toilet but even that is not comfortable.
I really wish I had a family.
